Return to Romania

Many of you already know, but my mother and I have planned a return trip to Romania to see our babies once again. I have organized many fundraisers all with my loving friends and family's help to get us back. The total trip cost is about $10,000 for me and my mom both to go for two weeks. We are planning to leave December 18 or 19 and return home around January 4.. We will be spending Christmas with each other in Romania along with another return volunteer Jane. We are really excited to return and I wanted to thank each and every person who has helped us get back. Whether you made a donation of $300 or $3 or just gave us a simple prayer, you helped me and my mom get back to the place we both feel is a piece of us.

For those of you who do not know...
My mother and I went on my first trip out of the country in 2011 to work in a Romanian Children's Home for 3 weeks. All of the children we worked with were special needs in some way. The children are placed in the hospital either because their parents could not properly care for them, or they were abandoned at birth. These children have either physical disabilities or mental delays. I fell in love with these children in 2011 and miss them every day I have been gone.
